Save Current Lister?

Is there a way to just save the current Lister w/o having to click on the dropdown menu and picking that Lister name?

Thanks,
Harold

You could make a button or hotkey which runs a command like this:

Prefs LAYOUTSAVE=single LAYOUTNAME="Foo Bar"

That will save the current lister to a layout called Foo Bar without any prompts appearing at all.

One potential problem, just to warn you: The layout always seems to be saved with the flag which tells Opus to close all other windows when the layout is opened. If that isn't what you want then beware.

Can a button save to current layout name and save without confirming overwrite to overwrite existing layout?

Prefs LAYOUTSAVE=updatecurrent, at least in Opus 12. Not sure if that was there in Opus 10, if your account linking has the correct version.

Prefs command docs.
