It is pretty common task to Search for something in files and then using the Viewer to navigate to the found text. A previous file commander (double commander) was auto filling-in then the Find box, but an alternative solution would be have a combo box of latest search terms in the viewer. This way, you can quickly open/close the viewer while browsing the found files.
