Select first file when entering folder in "details" mode

Hello everyone, new Dopus user here, and I'm enjoying it so far

Now, I have a simple question for you long-time users of it: When first entering a new folder, I'd like to be able to just press Enter to launch the first file available in said folder. This of course works in Power mode, but not in Details mode. I'm sure this sounds trivial to some, but not having it work as I want kinda makes managing files a bit harder than it needs to be. As it is now, if I enter a folder with a single file in it (which happens a lot, as I like keeping my file system well organized), I have to press either up,down or space to first select the file, before finally hitting enter to execute it. Anyone got any ideas?

Details mode generally aims to be compatible with Explorer. It can be configured differently in a few ways but I don't think this is one of them.

However, you could configure Power mode so that it's the same as Details/Explorer except for this particular thing, I think, so that should give you what you want.

Thanks for the answer, but I'm afraid I can't seem to customize the power mode to operate quite how I'd like it. In power mode I can actually execute the focused file as I wanted, but on the other hand, I can't do any other file operations (delete, move, copy etc.) until I've pressed space to select the file. Part of the problem solved though, so if I just could get that last part solved as well, I'd be a "happy camper"

Probably needs a code change. File a feature request with GPSoft.

Thanks, just did that
