I had assumed that while you were at it, you would fix TYPE= for all 57 varieties of Select...
To be fair, not all combinations are documented as working. TYPE was originally only meant to restrict the PATTERN argument.
For me at least it has become a victim of it's own success.
Select is such a powerful tool that I keep a pop-up menu of various flavours available at all times. I use on/off button driven lister level variables to toggle the addition of TYPE=files or TYPE=dirs to whichever applicable Select command I click from the menu.
