Shortcuts to directories failing with DOpus 11.10

Directory Opus Pro 11.10 Build 5466 x64
OS 6.1 (B:7601 P:2 T:1) SP 1.0 "Service Pack 1"

I have just upgraded to the latest DOpus version.

Whilst short cuts to files work ok, short cuts to directories are now failing "The specified path does not exist"

The same short cut works perfectly in Windows Explorer and did on the previous version of DOpus.

I have rebooted my pc

Failing in what way?

short cuts to directories are now failing "The specified path does not exist" as a popup dialogue

files work ok

But what are you trying to do with the shortcuts that triggers that error?

I just made a shortcut to a folder, double-clicked it, and Opus read the folder with no error.

That's all I'm trying to do. I wonder what's changed here.
As I said initially Windows Explorer is happy to open a short cut to a folder but not DOpus.

Best I can think is to roll back to version 11.8 and see that works ok still and then reinstall 11.10

Knowing it still works somewhere in the world is useful !
It's late here, so I'm not going to follow up right now.

Thanks

What happens if you right click them and choose the option to open them?

'fraid I can't answer that :frowning:(
I took the option to restore my pc to an earlier state which, happily, fixed things tho I'm back at version 11.8

I'm thinking the problem must be registry related given that it has obviously been working across the rest of the world !
(thanks Jon for checking)

I'll install version 11.10 tomorrow and report back

I wonder what the difference is between opening a file shortcut and a directory shortcut (rhetorical question!)
