Navigating to a file collection in a tab prevents "Show in Folder" (typically found in browser download dialogs) or other applications from showing the file in the last visited folder of that tab (before navigating to the file collection).
Steps to Reproduce:
- Create and navigate to a folder named
I:\Folder1. - Put a text file in it, for example,
Example.txt. - Navigate to a file collection in that tab (e.g., from a search or a favorite).
- Open the Everything by Voidtools window and search for the text file.
- Double-click the path to show the file in the folder.
- Notice how the tab where the folder containing the file was last visited gets focused, but the file does not get highlighted (regardless of whether it appears in the file collection as a result of a search or not).
Note: Steps 4 and 5 can be replaced by opening a browser and downloading a file to the mentioned folder, and clicking
Show in Folder.
Suggestion:
Opening a new tab and showing the file, as the specified path is no longer on display in the existing tab.
