Show thumbnails in Info Tip for Thumbnails view?

When the File Display's view is set to Thumbnails mode, it doesn't seem possible to make {thumbnail} display in the Info Tip.

The Images toolbar (which I've disabled) contains the thumbnail slider and size buttons, but I find displaying large thumbnails directly in the File Display makes browsing through a bunch of images less convenient (only so much can be on-screen at once).

The other views allow me to mouseover from one image to the next and see the image with ease (thanks to {thumbnail:1:512}), and I'd rather not have to open each one in the Image Viewer, or reduce the File Display's size by enabling the Viewer Pane, when in Thumbnails view.

There is the Tiles view, but I'd prefer if each image was a bit bigger by default. If increasing the thumbnails in Tiles view is possible, maybe I could create two Tiles views: one as a normal Tiles view, and one as a pseudo-Thumbnails view?

Is there any chance that thumbnails in the Info Tip could be supported in Thumbnails view? Say, as an advanced option?

Thanks!

Thumbnails in tooltips are deliberately hidden in thumbnails mode as it looks silly having a thumbnail that's already visible appear in the tooltip, however it makes sense if you've configured the tooltip thumbnail to be significantly larger than the thumbnails in the file display.

We'll change this in the next update so that thumbnails are shown in tooltips if they're at least twice the size of those in the file display (this same logic was already used for tiles and details+thumbnails modes).
