Skip directories while copying/moving

Hello! o)

Doing some massive copy ops currently because of failing disk drives on a developer workstation.
Dealing with millions of small and very tiny files which take years to copy (it feels like this at least).

Now what I wish would be possible in the DO copy dialog, is to skip a full directory.
We can skip individual files already, but this is not gaining anything in this scenario.
If we could skip all the directories containing these "atoms", it would save a huge amount of time.

Unfortunetely it's also not possible to try to determine all the directories to skip beforehand, since that probably takes as much time as letting it sit and wait.
If the imagined "Skip -> Directory" is pressed, the dialog could also ask with which sibling to continue or even allow to move up the directory structure and continue from there.

What' you think? o)

Not a bad idea.

Just for people who find this via searching, you can skip folders while copying if you know what you want to skip in advance, using a Copy Filter. But that doesn't help if you only realise you want to skip a folder after the operation has already begun.

Exactly, thanks for letting me know your feelings about it. o)
