For ages I thought that Dopus was struggling to load a screen full of icons on my main apps folder.
(My default lister displays a folder containing about 250 shortcuts)
But I've just cracked it. It wasn't Dopus, but a Windows issue.
I found a tip that recommended deleting the file C:\Documents and Settingsyourname\Local Settings\Application Data\iconcache.db
(Windows will immediately rebuild it, but any previous anomalies will have been removed.)
Reboot
Unfortunately my defragger decided to do an offline defrag when I re-booted. So I'm not certain which change had the desired effect.
Anyway, my problem folder now loads like a dream.
