Slowdown after some time

Directory Opus becomes very slow and lags and stutters after it has been active for a while. ending process through task manager fixes the issue until some time passes.

Windows10 Pro version 1903
DOpus Version 12.20 x64
corei 9, RTX2080Ti, 16 GB ram

Next time it happens, please make some process snapshots and send them to us. We may be able to see what's happening from those.

Have any other processes exhibited similar behavior?

Have you checked in Task Manager for high CPU, network or RAM usage by Opus or any other processes when it starts happening?

Anything that was in the dopus.exe memory space at the time. Licence details is the main thing, but also thumbnails that were visible at the time and that kind of thing. They would be a pain for someone to access, but are reason enough not to post the snapshots publicly.

Not usually. I wouldn't worry unless you have military secrets or something like that. The warning is there mainly because people kept ignoring the older, more simple warning and posting their snapshots in public where someone could extract their licence details.

The cache is on disk not in memory so there's not really anything to clear.

If you're that worried about something sensitive then don't send the snapshots, but we can't help in that case. We are not going to delve through them for anything, other than to work out which parts of Opus or other components are running at the time. We have better things to do with our time.
