Small problem with "Secure delete"

Secure delete has been working fine for I don't know how long. Normally it renames the file with a random string of 255(?) characters in the rootpath and then delete the file. This time, however, Opus can not delete quite a number of files. Asume it is because the total path length is too long??

What kind of drive is Q:\ there? If it's a non-Windows NAS or similar, it may have problems with very long paths, perhaps?

Just a simple 5GB local NTFS partition, nothing special.

Are the files still there after a refresh?

Can they be deleted manually or does that also fail? (Use shift+delete to bypass the recycle bin if it's on, as the Windows recycle bin doesn't support very long paths and wouldn't be used by secure delete.)

After a refresh the 'files' were still there.

Not sure what all happened, I securely deleted a folder with a number of sub folders.

But there were over 117,000 files with these random names...

Anyway, did the shift-delete, matter solved.
Thanks!
