Though i'd been using opus for over a year and just dealing with its seeming oddities, im glad im slowly working through now and revamping it- I took a step back to be thoughtful of what i'm doing, and im glad i did.
I think the way to go, is to firstly configure your colours, and other superficial preferences. Next, develop the folder formats, which are the main component- leave listers alone at this point, it only leads to confusion. Once folder formats are set, then one could move on to seting up listers, which should be considered complimentary to the folder format setups- used one one wants a brief configuration for accomplishing certain file work tasks and no more.
Anyone in (relative) agreement on these thoughts?
