Sort by Modified - Not working on SSH Folder (FTP Advanced)

Hello,

I have the FTP Advanced License version of DOpus and I use "Secure FTP via SSH" to connect to several folders.
When my lister is viewing a folder on my local disk, clicking the "Name" or "Modified" label at the top of the file list view to sort by that column works properly. When I chose sort by name, everything is sorted alphabetically. When I choose sort by modified (my typical default) then my list is reordered as I expect, the newest files on top.

Yet when I'm using the FTP Advanced License support to connect to a folder through the Secure FTP via SSH support, sorting of FOLDERS by modified date doesn't work. The modified date is displayed in the lister, and FILES are resorted based on the modified date, but the FOLDERS say in the exact same order no matter what I try to sort by. Almost like DOpus just lists the folders in the OS specified order, and regardless of how I've tried to sort in the lister, that is applied to files, but not to FOLDERS.

I've connected to three different SSH servers that are each running different operating systems, but the problem is the same on each.

Perhaps I've missed a configuration option somewhere, or perhaps there aren't enough people using FTP via SSH frequently enough to notice this?

FYI, Noticed this problem also applies to folders being accessed via MTP (ie, Android devices connected via USB)

Preferences / Folders / Folder Formats, check any relevant formats (FTP and Portable Devices are the two generic ones, but you may have ones saved for specific sites/folders) and turn off Keep folders sorted alphabetically on the format's Display tab.

Leo,

You are absolutely correct. Fixed! Amazing - so many great options in DOpus.

Where can I see WHICH format(s) are being used for the current lister - sort of like analyzing which CSS style is being applied to an element. Is there some jscript that I could write to make a button that displays the current folder styles that are being inherited?

Hover the mouse cursor over the padlock icon in the status bar.

Thank you guys. Amazing product. Amazing support.
I hope that DOpus sales are growing for you!

Please let us users know what we can do to help DOpus.

One idea that comes to mind is a Web Video that shows off what DOpus + Listary + Babun can do that Finder on Mac OS X can't do...
