Sort zip and / or lnk files like folders

i did look around a bit before asking this but many posts were old and things seem to have changed

for some folders (but not all) i would like .zip files to be grouped and sorted as if they were folders, at the top, always sort by name

and same question re shortcut .lnk files

For .link files: Preferences / Folders / Folder Behaviour / Sort shortcuts to folders like folders.

For .zip files, I don't think you can sort them in the file display as folders, but there is an option to include them in the folder tree.

Neither is configurable per-folder.

Per-folder, there is an option to sort all files and folders together, but that's only useful if there are no other file types that you want to keep separate.

Another option would be to sort using a script column, which could order things however it wanted, and could do different things in different folders.
