When I sort files on their creation date, they do not sort when I show them in Thumbnails, so when I want then default as thumbnails on creation date it does not work, no matter how I save it in the settings, as a list it everything is normal they can be sorted on creation date.
If you sort by creation date and then switch to thumbnails via the Thumbnails button on the default toolbar, it should still be sorting by creation date.
What are the exact steps you're doing? Are you trying to set up a folder format to automate this in some way?
