Status Bar code for File Path Size (numerical)?

I've looked through the resource list of status bar codes, and unfortunately I didn't see anything like this in there. Is there currently no way to implement the numerical value of the current size of the currently active folder / file path?

Something similar to how DO is set up to create new folders. It will show you as you type, the current path size numerical value. That would be awesome to have in the status bar.

You can add a column to the file display which shows that information for all items, if that helps. The same thing could also be added to the infotip when you hover over a file or folder.
