I put together a set of toolbars for single and dual mode displays, and Opus switches nicely between separate status bars when I'm in dual-lister mode, and a single statusbar when I have a single file display. However, I have one lister configuration that has a tree view, two file displays that are locked together, one showing a folder in detail view, the other showing the same folder in thumbnail view, plus a preview and metadata pane (similar to what was described in a post by playful, I think). Now the issue is that for this particular lister configuration, I would like to have a single statusbar (dual ones don't make sense, since both file displays show the same folder, plus there's not enough space anyway). So, I would like to be able to issue a command like "Set STATUSBAR=On,Single" to get this configuration, and later switch back with something like "Set STATUSBAR=On,Dual". I checked the help, but that doesn't seem to be possible, I can only switch the statusbar on or off. Did I just miss a way to do this? If not, could you guys add this for a future version?
No way to do it currently. Dual status bar does still make sense since you can have a different set of files selected on either side, different filters applied, etc.
That's what I feared.
Oh yes, I can see that in general, this may make perfect sense, it's just in my specific case where it doesn't work well. But, yeah, my particular purpose here may well be too narrow to warrant introducing such an option.
