Stop on Match item

I read in help file that Stop on Match option in label settings lets you stop parsing rules with less priority if a file/folder matches that particular filter rule or wildcard rule.

But I just noticed Stop on Match option in menu generated by Properties Setlabel

I can't find anywhere how it works and it's not so obvious to me.

Set a label on a file, then set Stop On Match on the file. It will then only have the label you explicitly set on it, and not be affected by any others.

Thanks for explaining. I think the name of this option could be better anyway.

What do you suggest?

We have four categories Preferences -> Label Assignments (by categories I mean these collapsible separators in the list):
File Paths
Folder Paths
Label Filters
Wildcard Filters

The option mentioned disables only Label Filters, leaving the three others in effect.

How about:
Ignore Label Filters

The option can be applied to wildcard and label filters as well (to stop multiple filters or wildcards from matching the same file or folder).

Hm, so there's something I don't understand.

My wildcard label:

All labels reset:

Right click on 1.txt and Stop:

Shouldn't the 1.txt file be normal font? Refreshing view doesn't help.

Note that Properties SETLABEL=stoponmatch is not documented in help

Thanks, we'll fix this in the next update.
