Strange behaviour as default manager?

I just set dopus as my default (Cause i couldnt take it anymore with explorer) and i have this weird issue.

First of all I use a dual vertical preset i've created,and what happens basically is that whenever i have closed my lister and i want to browse a folder it opens in dopus but it clears every tab that existed on the active pane,while the tabs of the opposite pane remain unaltered.

So basically before i do anything,I need to open my lister first so i can retain every tab of the active pane and then hit "my computer" or whatever windows i want opened.

That's normal, and a request has already been sent to GPSoftware to let people change it.

New listers opened by double-clicking folders don't inherit the folder tabs of the default lister.

Oh i see i just thought it was an anomaly from my part.So i need to have my lister open and ready before i click on any folder,to be add on a new tab and retain the existing ones.

By the way y is it that windows explorer opens with the default explorer?I have a windows explorer shortcut pinned to my start menu and it opens with the default explorer of course.Is there no way to change this as well?

If you have a shortcut to Explorer.exe then it will run Explorer.exe.

If you want it to run Directory Opus, point it at DOpus.exe instead.
