Styles: Tab Images to show grp:Images only

How to change the behaviour of Styles: tab "Images" so it will display the files in the same way as if I were to select grp:Images, i.e. hide folders, show thumbnails of image files only.

Right now all files are displayed, as thumbnails.

Thanks.

Turn on the style's Format option, then click the button to edit the format, and set up the pattern on the format's Show Filter tab.

Thank you!

In addition I have also enabled Flat View - Mixed (No Folders),
which was set 'Off'.

Thanks again.

Could it be that the 'grp:Images' setting is 'carried over' to another styles?
Like in my case to the Explorer tab?
When I switch to the Explorer tab, images only are displayed (with folders).
I need to check the 'Show everything' box in order to have the non-image files shown.
(Note: Explorer : 'Format ' is not enabled)

If the format in the other style isn't turned on, it'll be left however it is currently. To make make the other style clear the filter, it'd need the format turning on (and the filter tabs specifying no filtering).

Sorry for the delay. The matter is solved.

In fact you already solved some six years ago...
I have not been using it for a while and it was a bit tugged away in a kind of favourites list in the toolbar, well, I confess: I forgot about it and went on to use the quick filter at the bottom of the right panel.

Created a toolbar button, reading

@ifset:VIEW=thumbnails
Set VIEW=details
Set QUICKFILTERCLEAR
@ifset:else
SET QUICKFILTER="grp:Images" QUICKFILTERFLAGS=hidedirs
Set VIEW=thumbnails

Toggling this button works really nice.

Thanks.
