It's good that file that it's going to be copied is nicely marked (icon changes). However, I would also like to see the name of (future) file in the destination folder (grayed, for example).

We'll have a think about this for a future version. My initial feeling is it may turn out to be quite complicated, since the phantom files/folders added to the destination could then be selected/right-clicked and have commands invoked on them and we'd need to make sure something appropriate happened in all the different cases. (As well as other complications, like the same file/folder appearing via another operation, and having to always check if there's a phantom of it that needs to be removed when that happens.) Maybe it will be less complicated in reality, though.
I understand it's not that simple, but, if I were you, I would look in a direction of reusing what you already have for '..'.

In the future you can further expand upon it (for Opus 11): simple little progress bar for each phantom file/folder.
