Suggestion for the replace dialog

Hi all,

I currently use the 9.03 release of DOpus.

I noticed after having done several copy operations that a mechanism for replacing all files in one step does not exist in DOpus.
It would be very interesting, when several files exist in a directory to have the choice of replacing all of them quickly pushing a "replace all" button.
Perhaps for a next minor release ?

Hi Claude,

There is actually, but it's the same problem that it's probably not visible to your screen reader :frowning:

The 'Replace' button actually has a little drop-down on it that gives you these additional options. However it's not a "real" control in the sense that the screen reader will see it differently from the button itself.

However, if you can hold down the shift key when you click the Replace button you will get the 'Replace All' effect.

Ok, JON, I will try this ASAP...

But more I use DOpus more I notice "areas" of the software which are not screen reader accessible.

Could it be possible to improve this DOpus aspect in the future ?

JON, I finally succeeded in right-clicking the "replace" button and find the "replace all" option you mentioned..
Is this information present in the help ?

Whenever, making DOpus more screen reader accessible could be a real challenge but would be very nice for all of us who mostly use the keyboard to drive their applications...

Nice it work !
But are all those options you mention present in the help manual ?

And another suggestion for the Copy/move dialog box.
I well know it is already currently possible to minimize when such an operation is performed but adding a "Background" or a "Minimize To Tray" button would be very great ...

There's a page in the manual dedicated to the Replace dialog, but it doesn't describe all of options in the drop down menus. It's on the list of things in the manual that need more detail.

What's the name of this page please ?

Enhanced Replace Dialog page 164

Ok, and is this page present on the chm help system too ? it would be easier for me to work with rather than a pdf file ...

I'm not absolutely sure of this, but it's my understanding that in Opus 9, the Help contents and the PDF manual contain the same information, just in a different format.

That's right. In Opus 9 the PDF and the online help are both generated from the same source document.

Thank you all, !!! very very good to know ...
So I only need the online help system, the pdf manual is not necessary for me .?..
