A rename option in right click context menu, when viewing an image with built-in dopus picture viewer.

I still have a couple of weeks left in my evaluation.
I hope there is no problem in me wanting to get this (and other) ideas 'out there'?
There's no problem, but we prioritise questions & requests from linked accounts. (It's not an absolute thing, of course.)
Understandable
- F2 hotkey
-1 for rename in picture viewer...
+100 for full customization of context menu and hotkeys inside the viewer.
+1 for rename in picture viewer...

+infinity for full customization of context menu and hotkeys inside the viewer.
Even better!
While we´re at it: what about the ability to add tags in the picture viewer mode? Maybe some slim input field at the bottom, that could
be opened by a hotkey? Also, the F1 info should be customizable, so that we can add tags or other stuff.
My hope would be for a fully customizable context menu as well as Viewer Pane contextual hotkey control. That is to say, hotkeys that are set to do something specifically when the Viewer is active / has input focus. Similar to how we have a distinction today between system wide / global hotkeys and regular hotkeys, and hotkeys that are bound to toolbar buttons... it would be very useful to be able to re-use common hotkey combinations in a way that is separate from the hotkey key definitions in other parts of Opus.
For instance, abr just asked about making the what the hotkey displays in the viewer to be customizable. That key is a great example of what I'm suggesting - it obviously already calls up the 'Help' file in any other part of Opus outside of the viewer, yet it displays image info inside the viewer. I'm just suggesting that such contextual separation between ~what a hotkey does in different parts of Opus be expanded and made fully customizable.
I can't be the ONLY one with enough hotkeys defined that the prospect of adding MORE promises to drive us into strange key combinations that might not be super intuitive to remember. I can think of at least a half dozen key combinations that would be very intuitive for me to remember to do certain things inside the viewer that I've already got to doing other equally intuitive actions inside the file display.
I sort of hijacked a thread recently with my own variation on what the OP had asked for - so I'm really not trying to over-complicate the very specific and simpler request made here by the OP. But instead of incremental specific tweaks to the existing menu in the viewer, I think more people would be better severed by overall increased customization capability that would let us put ~whatever we want on the menu...
NOTE: full customization is a much bigger job for GPSoft of course... and there would also be a need to handle things in a special way inside the viewer so that commands run from a menu or hotkey would in fact operate against the currently viewed image; whereas control codes like {f} normally operate against the currently selected file(s) or folder(s) in the file display...? I could see the possibility of people wanting to still be able to run actions against selected files (or checked/tagged files, then selected or whatever) while they're inside the viewer. Makes me wonder if customization inside the viewer would also need some viewer context-specific control codes to refer to the currently viewed image... {i} instead of {f} or some such.
