Zipped PDF attachments are not ideal if you want the most people to read & respond to ideas. A lot of people won't open PDF files as they are a security risk, on top of the extra effort required vs reading a forum post.

It's best to have the text as a normal forum post, along with jpg/png/gif screenshots if desired. (You can upload those image types to the forum as attachments and then place the uploaded images inline with the text wherever you want.)
