Since DO13 can now use Everything to get folder sizes and perform searches, why not take it a step further? An option to increment the run count (using the Everything SDK via Everything_IncRunCountFromFileName) every time a file is opened from DOpus would be great. This way, when making a search using Everything engine from DO, files with higher run counts could have higher priority. It would mean better interoperability between two of the best programs on Windows.
I know this can currently be done using es.exe, but I imagine using the SDK would be much more efficient and faster.
What do you think of this idea? Would you like to see it implemented, or do you think it's unnecessary?
