Switching tabs does not change the mouse focus

I searched the file with a filter bar in a tab. I suddenly found out that I chose the wrong tab. I clicked on another tab and entered the keyword directly, but the keywords I entered were in the pattern field of the filter bar in the previous tab, that is, I switched the tab and didn't switch all the states (such as the cursor focus). The tab displayed on the pane is not exactly the current folder. I have to click on the pane to make sure it is current. is this normal?

That's fixed in the current beta, I think.

Coincidentally, I just restored the OS today and I haven't installed 12.14.2 yet.

Great, I didn't expect it to have been fixed, the filter bar is better, thank you very much!
