Synchronization: confirm file replace prompt?

Hello, I think is something new, but not 100% sure. I sometimes synchronize using a folder within an extracted archive as source. Destination is a standard folder.

I am now getting a "confirm file replace" prompt on each file with the same name that will be overwritten. Surely this should not appear during Synchronization?

My guess is the destination files have the Read-Only flag set, and Preferences / File Operations / Copying Files / Confirmation / Ask for confirmation before overwriting read-only files is on.

No, that is disabled.

Note these are usually RAR password-protected archives. It shouldn't matter I guess but they did cause some recent issues.

The archive is extracted first though, right? It shouldn’t affect things unless it’s resulting in unexpected file attributes/permissions or triggering indexing or antivirus to lock the extracted files or similar.

Extracted on-the-fly by DOpus (after entering the password obviously).

I think this is almost certainly caused by the source being an extracted archive. It does cause some confusion since the Synchronization settings are already in place, and in theory they should override whatever extra file replace confirmation prompts are triggered while an Archive Plugin is in active use for the source.
