In 9 sync worked as below
but for some reason in 10 it is not. I have to browse folders to select. Is there some setting that has changed?

Push the lock buttons, next to the browse buttons, so they're showing a 'locked' icon.
Folder tree lock buttons? If that is it, still not working.
I think Leo is referring to these lock buttons on the sync panel
Oh, thank you so much John, works now. Odd since I was unaware of the locking issue and it always worked in 9 without that awareness maybe it was on by default. I'll ck settings.
Checked settings, no option. Not sure why it worked in 9 without my interaction. Maybe it did and I'm just not recalling. I did so much sync-ing perhaps automatic response on my part. 10 moves differently, beautifully, so perhaps with all the 'new' things are looking differently. My 'wish' was to run 9 and 10 side by side so I could see the differences but alas, that idea would not work. A friend was trying to help with that 'wish' but just would not float.
10 is really really nice.
