i tried to find similar question but there is nothing about it on the forum i think
many times (especially when i compare folders) i face the problem of sychronized listers sliding
those of you who use WinMerge should know what i mean
so
maybe it would be useful feature to have possibility to switch such sync on/off
i think the best place to do it is on sync panel because there is ie option to shrink panel
there could be another one (checkbox) called synchronize panels
i like the idea too. (the difficulty is in the "empty" lines on 1 side, when there are "orphans" on the opposite side. dedicated tools such as Araxis or BeyondCompare3 are specialized in displaying such a "situation". file managers cant display such things as they list files and folders one after the other after the other after the ..etc.. without the possibility to leave blank lines).
lemme note that the infamous TotalCommander has a Synchronize module tool too and it displays the two sides synchronized with those mentioned blank lines.. but it uses a totally different window for this task. In Dopus, the Sync windows are our Dopus listers (here, in Checkbox mode) with all the original flexibility and beauty.

When the Dopus devs devised the Sync Tool i am sure that they already had thought about the (feasibility of) implementation of synch'ed scrolling Listers. So in the end this is no new idea. Anybody who compares folders (Araxis, BC3, TC) knows this quite natural concept and there is no doubt THAT EVERYBODY WOULD LOVE IT. Since it hasnt found its way yet into Dopus (Dopus 0.1 alpha - Dopus 10.0.1.6beta), i would drop the idea/hope and just use the beautiful specialized tools such as Araxis or BC3.
Let's keep in mind that Dopus is a premium file manager. Not a premium folder comparison/synchronization tool. (And although TC's sync module seems more advanced/flexible than Dopus sync module, i would never want to use the former. First i'd try Dopus (because i like it), otherwise i'd go directly into BC3 (or Araxis).)

This feature isn't planned (at least as far as I know) for the immediate future but it might happen at some point (it's still a good idea, just hasn't been one anyone has gotten to yet), and is more likely to happen if people who want it write to GPSoftware to request it.
(Plunder, Let's avoid all the baseless speculation and gratuitous discussion of other programs, please. The idea is well understood already and even if it wasn't, mentioning lots of other programs only helps if people are familiar with them already. We've been over that already in another thread and it's a bit annoying that you keep doing it.)

but still it would be useful as we already have sync module
blank lines... bad idea in FM
maybe it would just slide or not-slide another lister
or
maybe it would be simpler to implement to select items/lines in other lister
as DO is able to read and go inside folders in nav-lock mode
so if DO will find the same file in second lister it would select it automaticaly
if there will be no match there will be no select
("ensure visible" is a must in this case)
