The tab groups is just a marvelous feature and I use it a lot since I'm working on dozen of different pages. However, whenever used different groups it looks like they are all keep falling to default Details View, although I'm using other modes, such as Thumbnails View.
Is there a way to save the view modes per each tab, as well?
Do you want those folders to always use those view modes, whether or not you open them via the tab group?
Or only when opened via the tab group?
Only via the tab group. The details mode as default is just perfect.
If you edit the folder tab group via Preferences, you can change the folder format used by each tab via this button:
You may also want to open the folder tab group via a style so that you can turn on the format lock at the same time. Otherwise, if you go out of the folders and then back again, they may revert to the folders' normal formats instead of the special ones you want. Discussion about that can be found here:
I was expecting if I would save them in a whatever state, that they would just reappear in the that same state.
