The directory is not empty. (145)

This issue happens on Local Drives & Network Drives.

It just happens in Directory Opus (not Windows Explorer).

Using Directory Opus 12.26.

Two Folders & 2 Files:

  • %userprofile%\Desktop\New Folder\New Text Document.txt
  • %userprofile%\Desktop\1\New Folder\New Text Document.txt
  1. Copy "%userprofile%\Desktop\New Folder" => "%userprofile%\Desktop\1"
  2. For "Confirm File Replace - Directory Opus" dialog => Select "Skip".
  3. Then you get the following error
    "
    Copy File - Directory Opus
    An error occurred moving "New Folder".
    The directory is not empty. (145)
    "

How do you prevent this error?
Directory Not Empty

It looks like you're moving not copying?

Yes I should have said move (not copy) - sorry.

Move "%userprofile%\Desktop\New Folder" => "%userprofile%\Desktop\1"

OK, makes sense now.

That's something we found & fixed already but the fix hasn't made it into stable versions yet as it's part of other work we're still testing.

Thanks
