The pull-down menu disappears within one second

The pull-down menu that comes out when the menu button in the upper part of the window is clicked disappears within one second.

It has become it so before i aware.
I wonder whether the pull-down menu can be prevented from disappearing at once if it does very.
Please tell me.

As an environment
It is "xp sp2" "dell vostro1000". :cry:

I have no idea which menu you're talking about. Can you post a screenshot explaining better?
