What's the logic behind the option of moving all top toolbars to the title bar instead of being able to just select toolbars to put on the titlebar? The latter seems to be much more flexible, because it does not tie selected toolbars with their position.
The current option seems to support situations, when someone has dynamic set of top toolbars, which, I daresay, is extremely rare, as top toolbars are usually fixed ones.
OK, let me put it in another way, here: Preferences / Location Bar / Toolbars you set toolbars for a specific GUI element by selecting them from a list of available toolbars.
The new one is selected by moving it to a specific position.
Except for the above, this is inconsistent design.
Agreed. Having the ability to select which specific toolbar one could use in the Titlebar seems far more logical and would provide users greater UI flexibility.
As an example, I hide the DOpus Default toolbars by design and prefer to use layout and content-specific toolbars that include icons with labels under each.
If I had the choice of toolbar to use in the Titlebar, I would likely, but NOT always, use the default DOpus Menu or custom derivative.
And that's only IF I could still see my custom titlebar, which does not seem to be the case as of now.
