Toggling "Auto-size viewer window" from a button/hotkey

Hello, I'd like to have a toolbar button for toggling this preference:
Preferences > Viewer > Appearance > Auto-size viewer window (checkbox)

It'd be great if setting that respected selected (greyed out when unchecked) sub-options too, but for now I can't really find a way to toggle it at all.

I've looked through "Show VIEWERCMD" arguments, as that seems to be what Viewer hotkeys use to interact with it, but no luck. Also couldn't find a "generic" way to change preferences from comands/scripts so far.

I'm new so may be missing something obvious, would be grateful for any advice/links

There isn't a way to change how the window is resized (only the image inside it) outside of Preferences, but we'll add it to the to-do list.

Thank you for the info and for writing it down somewhere - it's fairly minor, but would make a nice addition IMO
