I was wondering how to fix a button by editing the URL associated with it.
I have a button on my toolbar to Display the DOpus Manual. For some reason, GP have changed the URL and the previous URL is not resolving to the new location, so the result is "page not found."
In addition, is there a way to change the default browser for DOpus functions (e.g., Manual, check for updates, etc.)? My preference would be to open URLs in a new tab in Firefox, my default browser; currently, DOpus defaults to opening a new window in IE.
To be more clear, when I open the Command Editor (advanced) for this button, I was expecting to see the incorrect URL in the Edit window, which I could then replace with the correct one to make the button work properly.
Instead, the only code appearing in the Edit window is "Help MANUAL", and I can't seem to locate the URL associated with this button no matter where I look.
Help MANUAL is a legacy command, presumably imported from a toolbar that originated in an older version?
We should correct the command so it doesn't go to a broken URL, but you can also fix it yourself by changing the command to run just "Help" (if you want the local copy of the manual) or to run the URL of your choice if you want it to open a particular URL.
Re the default browser, Opus already does that. Any URLs Opus launches for me open in a new Firefox tab. Try telling Firefox to make itself the default browser again via Options - Advanced - General. (If it still doesn't work, make IE the default, then make Firefox the default again. That might fix things.)
