Hi,
I have configurated the Directory Opus tollbar on the upper side of my monitor... but it is only in my first monitor. Is it possible to "duplicate" the Toolbar on secondary monitor too?
Regards
Mario
Take a look at Preferences > Customize > Toolbars
Click on the toolbar you want to duplicate, click duplicate, and name the duplicated toolbar something else.
In my case, I have the same floating toolbar on both my large monitor (DARK - Big Screen) and laptop (DARK - Small Screen)
There's no need to duplicate the toolbar. You can open the same toolbar multiple times.
-
Via the UI, select it in the Customize dialog (shown in Chuck's screenshot), then click Float.
If it's already floating, it'll ask you to confirm you want another one, and you just have to say yes.
-
Via commands,
Toolbar NAME="My Toolbar" STATE=float
will open a new one each time.
After placing them where you want them, use this to save their state and positions:
(Saving may also happen automatically, depending on config.)
Hi,
thank you very much for your reply.
I tryed to use both solutions but Auto Hide doesn't work in the second monitor. Any suggestion?

Mario
Has auto-hide been turned on for both toolbars?
What is it doing exactly?
Yes, turned on in both scrren
I put the toolbar on upper side of screen:
in the first monitor autohide works fine, in the second it doesn't work
Second Monitor:
First Monitor:
In 13.7.7, we have an improvement coming that will allow auto-hide toolbars on two monitors. (Or three, if you count the taskbar as a third one.)
Going beyond two doesn't seem possible, due to bugs in Windows. (In fact, just two doesn't work if you do what's documented. You have to use a combination of old and new APIs to get that; using the same API for both toolbars fails, regardless of which API it is.) So I don't know if this will work reliably, but it seems to work around the problem so far, when there are only two.
Dear Leo,
... sorry but the aouto hide in both monitor seems doesn'work.
I have 2 tollbars and sometime i work with only one monitor and sometimes with 2 monitors (may happen that i plug the II monitor when the pc is on).
Both toolbars are floating but the auto hide work only in one of them.
Is it possible to have the auto hide in both toolbars / both monitors?
Regards
Mario
