Touch for Viewer

Hi,

Maybe this has been requested before, but a touch friendly (picture)viewer would be very nice to have.

Sliding and zooming with touch goes much faster/easier with multi-touch.

any chance for this? Otherwise I have to rely on a 3rd party picture viewer.

Greetings,
Sigurd

I'd like to give a bum to this thread as I'm encountering the same issue. Is there any option in DO to improve the touch-ability of the viewer? (both trackpad and touch screen?)

Bumping this topic again.

I searched through most of the topics concerning the keyword "touch" and couldn't find any hint regarding the behavior of the viewer. Personally I don't care about zoom and pinch gestures, but flipping through a list of pictures with a swipe instead of a keypress would really help. I have a hybrid tablet and the listers work fine for me. Only when using the viewer I always need to flip back to keyboard mode.

You can set the mousewheel to move to the next/prev picture, which should enable scrolling gestures to do it.

Unfortunately this doesn't work. It was already enabled and works fine with the mouse wheel itself. No matter if Windows tablet mode is enabled or not, when I try to use touch within the picture, the finger triggers a left click and moving the finger results in marking a part of the picture. Touch on the picture with multiple fingers doesn't do anything.
Touching outside the picture in the background area doesn't do anything or triggers Windows gestures.
