Do you have a solution so that this tree pane always remains unfolded like the attached image?
Settings > Set Lister Defaults will save how the tree is expanded for new windows.
(If you're using Layouts or Styles to open or modify windows, they may need to be re-saved as well. Most things use the Default Lister.)
No possibility?
- Preferences / Folder Tree / Expand/Collapse / Pins
- Pin the folder
- Settings - Set Lister Defaults
Check you folder tree Preferences in case they are set to collapse unselected folders.
Pinning (suggested in the previous reply) can be used to keep folders open even when others are collapsed, if you want that.
For cloud storage I guess this doesn't apply?
The pin isn't working as it should?
In the settings type in "cloud" and review your config. If it's not working how you want it might have something to do with them "being treated as virtual folders" maybe, or you didn't add OneDrive as a cloud folder (but don't take my word for it, get your info from the manual).
I recommend having a dual lister, with two folder trees. Having one locked and one unlocked. So that the locked one doesn't move with your lister until you manually click on things within it. That way you can keep your static favorites-type folder tree on screen always.
