Turning off email contact list opening

Until I get a bit farther along with this new laptop, I'm using the "Windows Mail" program that came with it. Problem ... everytime I open the contact list to choose someone to mail to, or create a new contact, DirOpus9 opens instead, with the contact list in a pane.

This is incredibly un-helpful. I can't select the contact to email to because DirOpus9 somehow decides to get in the way.

I've searched, and found only one cryptic reply that listed a place one supposedly could do this, and all I could figure out to do (after finding that preferences box) is turn off DirOpus as an Explorer replacement.

Which seems ... bizarre? ... because why would one buy it in the first place?

So ... how do I get both Windows Mail and DirOpus9 functioning and playing well together?

Thanks,
Neil

You can control the folders which are replaced here:

Interesting ... though I've the "newest" (though still a trial download) ... mine doesn't have "Contacts" listed in that panel.

I guess, it's just leave it "off" as an Explorer replacement.

Thanks for the information.

Neil

You can add the Contacts folder yourself (or if you reset that page to the defaults it should appear).
