Unable to import configuration

I've got a new computer and i'm trying to import my directory opus configuration from my old computer to my new one. It seems to export ok but when I go to import the configuration into the new computer I just get an import failed message.

Both computers are running Windows 7 x64 with Directory Opus x64 9.5.6.0.

I've also tried to untick all the optional extras in the export windows, images, audio etc but i'm still unable to get the settings to import.

If you rename the config to a .zip file are you able to open it and view a file within it using Opus?

Hi yes, I see a load of folders, Buttons, Collections, ConfigFiles........

Okay, type /dopusdata into the location field in Opus, which should take you to the main settings folder.

If you try to create a new text file in there, does it succeed?

Yes I created a new folder and text file no problem in /dopusdata. But you’ve shown me how the backup\restore works so I’ve renamed the export file to zip and then copied the folders over to the /dopusdata folder and it are first sight dopus seems to have picked up the settings now.

Do you know of any problems doing it this way? No idea why the restore feature is failing.

Strange that it doesn't work via the automatic method but, yes, copying the config files manually should be fine.

Thanks a lot Leo.
