# Unable to load Excel files

Excel files will not load and the message as per the screenshot is displayed. Files open directly from Excel. There is not similar issue with Word files. Help please

Does the same thing happen from File Explorer?

Reinstalling Excel may be worth trying.

Opens fine from File Explorer.

Fixed. Defaults had changed somehow.
