Unexpected FF behavior. Unticked Content Type FF applied, Path FF not applied when when set to do so

Consider this sequence.
For a given location unexpectedly the Size on Disk column is missing.
I note that the Folder Format in question is that from "Cloud Storage"
I also note the lister source (Layout = g2default. This may be part of the answer. Lets move on for now):

I go and check on the Cloud Storage FF and see that

1. It is a Content Type FF; and
2. It is NOT selected (Q01 = Can this FF be in use when not selected? I thought that not selected means not active?)
   
   

Not to be deterred, I RHS click the information icon and select from the resulting context menu "Reset to folders format" as per below:

The FF that I am expecting to activate is the one highlighted below.
Note there are two size columns inc. Size on disk:

This same FF has set to Use as the default format for all subfolders:

But still no Size on Disk column.

I do see Opus has Automatic Formats there days.
I was not aware.
But these I see are overridden by Folder type FF:

Q02 What am I doing wrong|need to do to apply my Path Format?

Alas!
I thought I had it.
I noticed the saved Path Format was from the restored config of another computer
Path format referenced

Where as the actual folder path is:
C:\Users\shaun\OneDrive\T01
So I edited the configured Path format to match.
I navigate the the exact path location (Not any subfolder even though I was expecting the same result for any child paths)
Now the PAth Folder at least gets a mention but Size on Disk is still missing:

Again I Reset to Folder's Format
No dice:

Deleted and recreated that path format.
Also deleted all the other path formats for folders that no longer eixst.
Now it seems to work.
Will post here on how I go....
