upload to ImageShack often doesn't work.
I think it is ImageShack, not Opus. I say that because it works again later without anything changing in Opus.
That's right, sometimes it works, sometimes not.
Is it possible zu create buttons to alternativ image-hosters, doing the same as the ImageShack-button?
Opus only provides support for ImageShack and Flickr. To use another image host you'd need to find a command line tool for them which allows the upload. Then it's a simple job to incorporate it into an Opus button.

With 5.5.5.0 IS-upload nearly fails all the time. 
AFAIK, nothing has changed recently on the Opus side regarding ImageShack uploads.
If you're seeing differences it's probably ImageShack, as before. I've also seem them go through unreliable periods (and also seen it where it's unreliable for me but not people in other regions, I presume due to different servers).
For me, it doesn't work permanently and that is new 
Complain to ImageShack and/or GPSoftware then, I guess. Maybe they can work out why it doesn't work on your machine.
Don't know if this helps but I upload to ImageShack almost every day using Opus and it's never failed for me.
Did the same in the past
