USB devices do not show correctly in Opus 12.8.0

Two items:

  1. iPhone connection using latest iOS: After removing phone from computer while iPhone is still selected in Opus, several identical messages -- I did not count how many but I would say more than 6 -- pop up to tell me the device is not there. (I remember in Opus 10 how happy I was that Opus did not give me the same problem as Win File Explorer (WFE) did with all the messages everytime I disconnected the iPhone.) Also, Opus still shows a place in the tree for my iPhone long after it is disconnected.

  2. Opuse is slow to show a plugged in USB drive. Is there a setting for this? I find it is slow in general to show folder changes of files. I often find myself using WFE because it is faster to load WFE and select my USB drive than it is to wait for Opus to show it.

Do both also affect Explorer? They may be OS-level issues. e.g. If Windows takes a while to notice the device has been plugged in, we can't make it happen any faster.

The Preferences / Miscellaneous / Advanced: mtp_enable setting may affect exact behavior/messages when an MTP device is removed, although it may be the same in both cases. Setting it to False is more likely to give the same behavior as Explorer, while True is more likely to give behavior unique to Opus.
