Is it possible to get DOpus to remember the contents of a folder when it is not connected to the network. For example I have a multinedia pc in my lounge but it is only on for a brief time during the day in order to move files from my main pc to it for the evening's entertainment. However, there are times when i would like to check that i have placed a particular file on the networked pc but cannot until it comes back online again. Is there a function, or workround, that would enable me to keep the contents of the networked subfolders visible offline after viewing it online? I know i can still see the contents of the main folder, as they remain on screen from the previous browse, but i am unable to open and view the sub contents as obviously i am not connected, but it would be nice to have some kind of memory mode (like the IE cache for example) to be able to browse previously viewed files without re-connecting. I dont need to work with them - just check they exist. Hope all that makes sense!
Have you considered using the Offline Files feature of Windows?
Thanks for reply - i dont actually want to access the files, just see them, something along the lines of the directory print function although i want them to be updated automatically as a list. I have tried the Windows Offline files feature but it actually downloads copies of the complete files on the other pc, which is way too intensive.
I don't know of any way to do that, sorry.
