Using collections as folders/dirs

Hello,

Is it possible to drag collections to other applications? I tried to
make a collection with files and folders (added as subcollections -
then I can remove some files) and than drag it to InfraRecorder to
backup files and folders I want. But it didn't work. It is not possible
to drag collections to InfraRecorder. Why? I would like collections to
work as directories/folders.
It would also be used to create collections of audio files, which can be dragged into Winamp.
Do you have any ideas how to use collections as folders/directories?

You can drag the files and folders that are in collections to other programs. You can't drag actual the collections themselves, though. You have to go inside of them, select all, then drag (which won't work if you're using sub-collections).

Dragging all files separately doesn't make sense (a lot of files, a lot of directories (subcollections)).
Adding dirs as members is unconvenient. I can't remove any files from directories (eg. large files I don't want to backup).

Maybe it's possible to make a button which would "translate" list of files and folders in collection to format understood by other programs?
(It would be nice if it was done automatically when collection is dragged out of Directory Opus window by default.)

If you want to request it then you should do it here: gpsoft.com.au/Support.html

Seems like a good idea to me, for what that's worth.

I have already done it.
Then suggested to visit DOpus Resource centre to see if anyone can
come up with a suitable solution.

Ah, fair enough.

I can't think of any way to do it at the moment, sorry. Maybe someone else will think of something.
