I was wondering if there any updated and explicit instructions that show step by step how to get Directory Opus to show working previews of .rm and .flv files in the preview pane.
I've spent hours trying to get .rm and .flv file previews to work following the instructions in a couple of other threads.
My current state is that I'm running Windows 10 Professional, 64-bit. I have both the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows Media Player installed. Both versions of Windows Media Play play all of the following without any problems: .avi, .flv, .mkv, .mov, .mp4, .mpeg, .mpg, .rm, and .wmv. Directory Opus will preview all of those types of files except for .flv and .rm files.
I've tried downloading and installing various codecs and splitters. I've tried resetting the default video player to both the 32-bit and 64-bit Windows Media Player. And I've been going at this for so long I don't even remember what else I've tried.
If possible, please provide up to date and explicit instructions for what to download, install, reset, change, delete, whatever that specifically focus on getting .flv and .rm files to work in the preview pane.
Thanks,
Rob
