In XP, when I right-hand mouse click on the folder tree and select "search", I get the Opus search. With Vista and Opus 9, I get the Windows search. My preference is Opus ... can someone tell me how to get Opus instead of Windows in this case?

I just did a side by side comparison between my XP Pro desktop computer and my new Vista laptop and both open the Opus Find dialog from the Explorer or from Opus 9.
Just a guess here, did you configure Opus 9 to be a total Explorer replacement? If not, you might try doing that in preferences (just type REPLACEMENT in the prefs filter at the bottom of the prefs dialog then press the first button to the right to see where you need to make the change).
I am already set to "Replace Explorer for all system folders (recommended)" so I guess that isn't the problem. But I am encouraged to hear that you are able to see the Opus search dialog ... I must have something wrong somewhere, it's just great to know that it is possible.
I will experiment ... if you can think of anything else, please do let me know !
