I wrote a toolbar ages ago that changes folder icons by adding a desktop.ini file to the folder that links to an icon file.
Though the code for it is sound (it works!), it seems that Vista has a refresh issue. The icons don't always show after assigning them, either in Opus or Vista Explorer.
It seems they only appear after a while, even though looking at the folder through a fileselector of a program shows that the folder icon has definitely changed.
However, if I use Vista's own method (get folder properties, customise, change icon and select icon from file) it changes straight away, both in Vista and in Opus.
How can I refresh the lister like that so that the folder icon changes show straight away?
