Want to send a hotkey upon double click in white space

Hi,

Using a freeware, I've set ctrl+M to launch a popup that contains a list of folders and files I frequently launch. Is it possible to send this key combination (or any other user defined) when I double click in the empty white space of a Opus lister?

Another Q: How do I set single lister mode? i.e., When new folders are launched from other programs, Opus should open them up as tabs in a single lister and not open another (if one is already existing.

TIA.

Opus can respond to hotkeys but it doesn't have the ability to send hotkeys to other programs. (Except by having Opus run a third program which sends the hotkey, of course.)

You could put those frequently-used folders into the menu context menu you get when right-clicking the empty space in a lister. I guess that you want to be able to access this menu when using other programs, though?

Turn on Open external folders in a new tab in Prefs - Launching Opus - Explorer Replacement.

I was asking about Opus sending a user defined key combination to Windows, not to a specific program.

The menu having my fav folders and files is universal, thanks to the free program PS Hot Launch and is invoked by Ctrl+M.

On a related note, how do I launch a .exe when I double click in the empty space of a the lister?

Perhaps I can use AutoHotKey to create an .exe which when executed, will press Ctrl+M and I can call this .exe upon double clicking in the lister.

Create a User Command that runs the Exe (via Customize -> Commands -> User and then set it to be run when you double-click (see below).
